There are many Archangels..... but ten main ones, these are discussed below.
Archangel Michael.....
He is probably the best known or most famous of the Archangels. Michael's name means "he who is like God" or "he who looks like
God". He is the protector of Humanity and a leader among the Archangels. He is in charge of the order of Angels known as "Virtues"
and overseas the Lightworker's life purpose and mission.
His chief purpose is to rid the earth and it's inhabitants of the bonds
and toxic effects of Fear. For those that have "seen" Michael he is reported to be a very large Angel handsome with Reddish hair.
When you feel Michael you may see bright Blue or Purple light as those are the colors most associated with him. He also projects a
very fiery energy, so it is not unusual to feel hot in his presence. He is depicted as carrying a blue sword which he will use to
aid those that call upon him for assistance.
He offers immediate assistance when called upon, and will assist with, courage,
direction, protection, life's pupose, motivation, worthiness issues, or even assist with the operation of mechanical devices.
In short Michael is always "in service" and will assist whenever he is called upon. There is no need for a formal invitation.
Just say "Archangel Michael please come to me I need your assistance" and his help will be immediate.
His temple is at Banff, near
Lake Louise in Canada. His day of the week is Tuesday and his color is blue, which corresponds to the throat chakra so he can especially assist in providing the courage to speak the truth about an issue that is surrounded in fear.
Archangel Jophiel.....
Archangel Jophiel who's name means 'Beauty of God' connects you to your higher self, bringing wisdom, intuition, perception, joy, bliss and soul illumination.Call on Archangel Jophiel if you need a creative boost. If you ask him he will also heal, cleanse, activate, balance and align you mental body, which stops feelings of low self-esteem and mental fog. He also helps absorb information. His temple of light is over Lanchow in China.
Archangel Gabriel.....
Whose name means "God is my Strength" seems to be our most frequent visitor from the higher realms. Gabriel's ongoing interest in this planet is no doubt due to his function as heavenly awakener, the angel of vibratory transformation. Gabriel brings the gift of hope, happiness, love and transformation. Gabriel helps to create energy that will transform your life into a joyful angelic experience. He can dissolve fears and guide us through change.
Gabriel's colours are white and orange. He is the angel of revelations, and helps to interpret your dreams and visions. His energy is joyful, light and bubbly. He is also the angel of annunciations, resurrection, vengeance, destruction, mercy and death. He guides the soul on its journey to paradise. His temple of light is over Mount Shasta in California.
Archangel Raphael.....
He is perhaps the most endearing of all of the Angels and the one most frequently depicted in Western Art and Literature. His image is featured on such artists as Rembrandt and Botticelli. His name means "God has Healed" or "God Heals" based upon the Hebrew word "rapha" meaning doctor or healer, and as his name indicates he is charged with the healing of the Earth. Raphael is a powerful and fast healer of physical bodies, both human and animal.
Raphael can be invoked or requested on behalf of someone else however he can't interfere with that person's free will to accept or refuse spiritual healing. His presence will however have a comforting influence and have a calming effect regardless of the ultimate outcome.
Raphael is a healer and guide for wild and domesticated animals, he can be called upon to aid in retrieval of a cherished animal or pet, as they especially are open to his gentle energy.
Raphael has been known to open the third eye, which is the spiritual energy center responsible for clairvoyance. You can be assured he is around when you feel a loving gentle energy and see sparks or flashes of the colour green or emerald. Raphael frequently works with Archangel Michael to exorcise troublesome spirits and remove lower energies from people and places and so is an excellent Angel to call for the purposes of space clearing and spirit release. Archangel Raphael also assists with addictions and craving and the release or reduction of them, clairvoyance, eyesight, physical or spiritual through the third eye, healers guidance and support of, healing for human and animals. He is also known as the chief of the Guardian Angels. His day of the week is Wednesday. His temple of light is over Fatima in Portugal.
Archangel Ariel.....
Ariel's name mean “Lion or Lioness of God”. and so as his name implies he is often associated with Lions. When Ariel is near you may begin to feel or see visions of Lions around you. Some artwork does indeed portray Ariel as having a lion's head. This Angel is also associated with the wind so when he is around you may feel or hear the wind as a sign.
Ariel has been associated with the order of Angels known the Thrones and has assisted archangel Raphael in the curing of disease. He is the angel that controls the demons, and has
been ranked as on of the princes who rules the waters and overseas and assists in the care of the Earth.
In this role he oversees the Sprites the nature angels associated with water. Sprites are similar to fairies and their purpose is to maintain environments near oceans, lakes, rivers, streams, and ponds. In this role of healing and protecting nature (animals, birds, fish, Ariel will work with Archangel Raphael to heal animals in need. If Ariel calls on you to assist in his mission of protecting the earth and waters, and if you assist him in his mission you may enjoy greater powers of manifestation and magical powers.

Archangel Metatron.....
His name may mean “one who occupies the throne next to the Divine throne”. It could also be derived from the Latin metator meaning a guide or measurer. The exact meaning of his name is unclear as his name doesn't end in the traditional “el” as do most of the names of the Archangels.
In traditional sources and texts Metatron is said to be the prophet Enoch who was taken up to Heaven, and transformed into an angel of fire, with thirty six pairs of wings to continue his days days as a celestial scribe. Metatron's unusual could perhaps stem from his unusual origin as one of only two Archangels who were once mortal men who walked the earth, (the other was being Metatron's twin brother the prophet Elijah who became Archangel Sandalphon). He is said to be the youngest of the archangels as his creation was after that of the other Archangels.
Metatron it is believed was the prophet and scribe Enoch, who while on earth so completely “walked with God” during his lifetime, and retained such purity of thought and action that God escorted Enoch directly to the Seventh Heaven, there to reside and work. He was given wings and transformed into the Archangel Metatron.
While on earth he was also given “The book of the Angel Raziel” known as Sefer Raziel a book about heavenly secrets and God's workings. Since Enoch was a scribe on earth he was given a similar job in heaven. to record everything that happens on Earth recording and up keeping the Akashic records or (the Book of Life).
Metatron is a fiery energetic angel who tirelessly works as an intermediary between heaven and earth since he has experience of both heaven and earth. He helps us understand heaven's perspective and teaches us to work with the Angelic Realm as a whole. He is said to have a special understanding and love of children especially those spiritually gifted and as such will help children while here on earth and those just newly crossed over.
Metatron's energy is strong and highly focused and will assist with, motivation and overcome procrastination toward any task that you may need to accomplish. Call on him when you need help with, child issues, record keeping, writing, and organizing a task, and spiritual understanding.
Archangel Raziel.....
Zaziel's name means "Secret of God" because he works so closely with the creator
that he knows all the secrets of the Universe and it's inner workings. Raziel wrote down all of these secrets into a Heavenly
volume of symbols and Divine Magic. "The Book of Angel Zaziel or Sefer Zaziel". The Book was given by Raziel to Adam, and used
by him, after he was expelled from the Garden of Eden, and later by the prophet Enoch who received the book prior to his
Ascension and transformation into the Archangel Metatron. The book is available today in book stores, it is however difficult to
understand and decipher and it is said that you must call upon Archangel Zaziel's assistance before you can ever make
sense of it or use it.
Zaziel can help you understand sacred geometry, manifestation principles, esoteric material, and high level information.
